BlackBerry Torch 2 Leaked Specification review

BlackBerry Torch 2 Leaked Specification
Now its a time for RIM, Research in Motion’s (BlackBerry manufacturer). Today we got special leaked specification and images of BlackBerry Torch 2 mobile phone from BGR. The specification are just like any other smart phone as quoted by Boy Genius Report (BGR). So we checked it and yes its true. It is just like any other smart phone.

It has a horizontal sliding QWERTY keypad. Now lets talk about the features and specification. Remember its not complete, it is just an overview (leaked features). So we have to wait for some more time for the company official announcement.

It has 1.2 GHz processor, 512 MB RAM, runs on BlackBerry OS 6.1 and 8 GB built-in memory. Other things are 5 Megapixel camera, Magnetometer, Accelerometer, Proximity sensor, GPS, NFC, OpenGL, 3.2-inch VGA 640 x 480 capacitive display and much more. The device is only 11 mm thin and looks far more elegant and sleek.

Well the features are just like any other normal smart phone but they are not so impressive. As we recently got Motorola Atrix, HTC 4G phones and some others too which are packed with extreme options. So I think RIM has to do something more now.

The releasing date and price is still a secret. Even examiner.com has pointed has some outdated features. They are talking about small screen size. Other thing is that, Apple is ready to blow the market with its new iPhone 5 release soon.

And here is my personal opinion – ‘Torch2 is not so pleasing (it has some outdated features) and I think it will have to struggle to find some good market space.’
