Sony�s new TV can give two pictures to two viewers

Sony has recently announced the development of a technology called dual-view, which allows two different viewers to see two different images.

I suppose that this could be used for when two different viewers want to watch two different shows, but they will have to wear headphones so they don�t hear each each others� audio.

It would appear that Sony wants to market this for gamers. So if two people are playing a game with a split screen, the screen would not have to split.

At a recent press conference, where Sony showed off this technology, the company warned that �this will make your eyes hurt�. Clearly, some more development is required. Until then, the results are like 3D.
